u3a National Newsletter – March 2022

The u3a National newsletter for March is available here. As usual there is plenty to read, take part in and enjoy. Including:
March’s u3a Radio Podcast – Episode 16 – Generation Wow, Laughter Yoga, Seaweed.
Members can listen to it on Apple, Spotify, Google Podcasts – and it is still available in captioned video form on YouTube.

New on the Brand Centre
There are new things on the u3a brand centre including membership cards, water bottles, picnic blankets and rucksacks.

These new monthly logic puzzles, are being led by Norwich u3a member Gordon. Try the first one on our website now.
Help Us With Our Skill Sharing Campaign
The partnership with Specsavers showcases the skills of u3a members and helps u3a reach a wider audience – so far the campaign has reached over 19.6 million people.
We are looking for members to feature in future videos. If you, or any of your members have a skill that you could share – anything from DIY to golf to soap making – we would love to hear from you.

In this real-time demonstration Chef Alex from “Vegetarian for Life” will be cooking up 3 delicious dishes. These perfect recipes to celebrate spring are all vegetarian or easily made vegan.
Picnic in the Park, Live Cookery Demonstration – Monday 16th May, 10.30am
Bruschetta; tasty pasta salad; Greek fritters with Tzatziki; mushroom pate; orange, lemon and pistachio cake – Chef Alex will be creating the ultimate picnic recipes.
