National u3a Newsletter – September 2023

Borscht is a traditional beetroot soup from eastern Europe, hearty and satisfying with a rich vibrant colour. The second recipe, blinis are little pancakes made from buckwheat flour. Top with a range of savoury or sweet toppings. The main dish is borlotti and chestnut stew. Finally as an easy bake, flapjacks.
